Beloved...
Kissed by morning breath
Times gift, embraced
Mercies new day;
Dream
Delight
Destiny
Grace, bathed steps
Into wonder
Awe blessed beginnings
Today
I am alive
Like pen
Like brush
Like colour
Like light
I write my love
A letter …
Life’s song…
“I am My beloveds and my beloved is mine!”

Little girl...
Heavens beam
Crowned
My lifted gaze
As I bathed
Oil drenched brow
Trinity dance
Received me
Till my soul believed
Truths full ambition
Held
Hands
Healing
His voice called:
“arise!”
Faith
stirred
my arising
From sleeps ashes..
Is He calling you?
Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”

I have so many words to sing
Love songs to my king
Who fashioned me from the clay
For the array of his splendour
I am his delight
He celebrates my life
Each breathe I take a gift
Each step I take a leap
Of faith, hope, love
Kingdom made manifest from above
Life in my feet
Life in my speech
Life in my touch
New life
New hopes
New dreams
Blessed, beautiful, beloved
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Stop dwelling on the past.
Don’t even remember these former things.
I am doing something brand new, something unheard of.
Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.
Don’t you perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and open up flowing streams in the desert.

Majestic King
Majestic King in robes of righteous grace
envelops me with divine eternal kiss
a sea of mercy, healing bathing waves
I’m drenched in victory-cry horizon’s blaze
I stand in awe and wonder, oceans purest gift
my Saviour’s love for me -
I’m speechless and undone
words sing in silent adoration, praise streams
with ebbs and flows,
His constant love embracing
In storms, intoxicating hope sustains
and fountains, streams and waters flow
in unison shores crescendo, passion sings
and deep calls out to deep
Transcendent God,
flamboyant King
with lavish love
you hem me in
Hail Adonai!

nothing but..
To carry the truth we must be true.
Loving God and HIs truth more than our own life.
Trinity divine wisdom is not worldly wisdom.
Very often leading us through the door that requires the most sacrifice but as we enter taking us to the the highest level of walking in harmony with Jesus.
And the breath of the Almighty gives us life.
We are invited into life with Christ not just for Christ.
Isaiah 1:17
Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow.

The Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold—the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will name him God Among Us.
Isaiah 7:14-16 TPT
Where could I go from your Spirit?
Where could I run and hide from your face?
If I go up to heaven, you’re there!
If I go down to the realm of the dead, you’re there too!
If I fly with wings into the shining dawn, you’re there!
If I fly into the radiant sunset, you’re there waiting!
Wherever I go, your hand will guide me;
your strength will empower me.
Psalm 139:7-10 TPT

“and not a God far off?
Can anyone hide out in a corner
where I can’t see him?”

“Am I not present everywhere,
whether seen or unseen?”

Undone
Undone I stand in awe
Pierced by pure love divine
Eyes open, heart aflame
I see the lamb once slain
Living in Calvary's promises
When you said it is done
When time stood still for me
Salvations cry was heard
Lifes blood pulsed through my viens
Jesus forever reigns
Living in Calvary's promises
When you said it is done
One day you will return
Blast trumpet cry resound
Come dancing bride arise
Clothed in your righteous gown
Living in Calvary's promises

Loves current...
Jesus’ love is the true current of life.
Once I was afraid to love or to love-love because I was afraid of what it might cost me.
To love is to be vulnerable, this in itself is self sacrifice.
The love of Jesus is pure. In him we find ourselves and loose our selfish-selves.
We can lean into all of the GOOD of HIS kingdom.
We can live in Him in the here and in the now.
We can be fully present in HIS presence.
We can be His poetry, love letter, song, whisper…
The Lord Yahweh has equipped me
with the anointed, skillful tongue[a] of a teacher—
to know how to speak a timely word to the weary.
Morning by morning, he awakens my heart.
He opens my ears to hear his voice, to be trained to teach.

LETS HURRY, GO & SEE FOR OURSELVES!
I have been chewing over the story of the shepherds & the Angels in Luke 2: 8 - 20 (text below). It is so rich with both inspiration and encouragement but also with deep challenges for us in the days we live in!
Verse 15 says - "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about." So they hurried off and found Mary, Joseph and the baby!”
Lets HURRY & GO & SEE for ourselves the Christ, the Lord, the Messiah, the Anointed One!
Lets HURRY & GO & SEE FOR OURSELVES
this good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
Lets HURRY & GO & SEE FOR OURSELVES
the Saviour (the one who rescues) that has been born for us.
Lets HURRY & GO & SEE FOR OURSELVES
Christ the Lord whom gives peace to men on whom his favour rests. Let’s hurry & go & see for ourselves this gift from God!
The shepherds knew that what they had been told, what they had been given was GOOD NEWS – the gift, the Christ child lying in a manger & they were excited & full of anticipation!
Verse 17 says that WHEN THEY HAD SEEN HIM, THEY SPREAD THE WORD CONCERNING WHAT HAD BEEN TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS CHILD - they spread the good news & all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them!!!
They SOUGHT Jesus & they SAW Jesus - a gift from God for THEMSELVES!
They sought Jesus, they saw Jesus - the gift from God for themselves & they shared the good news about Jesus with others!
They sought Jesus!
They saw Jesus - the gift from God for themselves!
They shared the good news about Jesus with others!
They were amazed & they returned, GLORIFYING & PRAISING God for all the things they had heard & seen, which were just as they had been told!
1 John 4:14 says - And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.
This CHRISTmas may we SEE & TESTIFY that the Father has sent his Son Jesus to be the Saviour of the world.
I am challenged and stirred more deeply than ever-
to seek Him
to see Him
to share Him
to personally be excitement about our Good News!
I have to ask myself honestly am I glorifying & praising God for the promises & fulfilment of his living Word?
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.” When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. Luke 2: 8 -

Jesus is for life not just for Christmas!
Jesus gave himself as a gift, planned from the beginning for all eternity.
Jesus was a gift prophesied about & waited for with great expectancy.
John 1:14 says - The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
Jesus was the Alpha & Omega – the Beginning & the End in the flesh! The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us!
John 1: 1-2 says - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
As we celebrate CHRISTmas may we take time to ponder the greatest ETERNAL gift - JESUS!
God is with us!

The Father of Eternity!
The Prince of Peace!

CHRISTmas to me is all about extravagant generosity, where we get to be recipients of THE GOD OF THE GIFT!
I love the Whitney Houston song:
YES, JESUS LOVES ME
Jesus loves me this I know
For the Bible tells me so
Little ones to him belong
They are weak but he is strong
Yes Jesus loves me
Oh, yes Jesus loves me
Yes Jesus loves me for the Bible tells me so
Every year my hubby recounts the CHRISTmas story to me in a thick Brummie accent! He even goes as far as to make the sounds of the donkey entering the scene “clip-clop, clip clop.” All aided and accompanied by our fabulous vintage nativity with its hand carved wooden donkey, star, stable, angels, shepherds, sheep, 3 wise men, Joseph, the Virgin Mary & baby Jesus wrapped in cloths & lying in a manger. Baby Jesus, right there at the centre of the story & right at the centre of our story also!
Isaiah 7:14 says - Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
It’s truly mind blowing - Immanuel, which means God with us, God among us!
We have been given such an amazing gift, an eternal gift, a priceless gift, a Wonderful gift, a gift from God Himself - His one and only Son.
A gift of love, a gift of forgiveness, a gift of eternal salvation for all who believe.
John 3:16 says - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

“WHERE IS THE ONE?”
“WHERE IS THE ONE?”
BAM, those words hit me hard and echo in my mind!
Words that nearly all of us have spoken or asked at some point of time in our lives.
These familiar and almost haunting words spoken by us, we’re also words spoken by the Magi.
Matthew 2:1- After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
The Magi were searching for Jesus - the one, with excitement and anticipation.
The Magi were looking for Jesus so that they could worship Him.
Today we too are invited to seek, find and to worship Jesus.
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

“WHERE IS THE ONE?”
“WHERE IS THE ONE?” Leaps through time, through pages, through places.
Spoken by the Magi in Matthew 2:1 but also again by Mary Magdalene after the crucifixion at the tomb of Christ John 20:1-
Mary was weeping audibly asking herself and others where is he? Where is my lord? Where is the one, the one I love?
Those words lodge themselves, EVERY TIME in my being, penetrating my heart, making me weep also.
Jesus (when he was not recognised) asks Mary “Whom are you seeking?”
Mary, not recognising Jesus passionately responds: Sir as for you, if you carried Him off, tell me at once where you laid Him, and, as for myself, I will carry Him off.
Mary sought Jesus with audible weeping, through disappointment and grieving.
And thinking that she was speaking to the gardener Mary boldly says: “Sir as for you, if you carried Him off, tell me at once where you laid Him, and as for myself, I will carry Him off.”
BUT Jesus says to her: “Mary.”
Mary turns around! Mary knows the familiar voice calling her name! Mary knows she is loved completely! Mary recognises Jesus!
Mary, in her searching had said; ‘If you carried him off, tell me at once as for myself I will carry him off.’
Mary did just that in her heart, her life, her worship, her testimony and her everything!
Today we are asked the very same question:
“Whom are you seeking?”

John 20:1 – 19 (From an expanded translation by Kenneth S. Wuest.)
Now, on the first day of the week, Mary, the Magdalene, comes early while it is still dark to the tomb, and she sees the stone moved out of its place out of the tomb. Then she runs and comes to Simon Peter and to the other disciple of whom Jesus was fond and says to them, They took the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they laid him. Then Peter and the other disciple went out and were going on their way to the tomb. Now, the two were running together. And the other disciple was running ahead more swiftly than Peter and came first to the tomb. And he intently gazes upon the strips of linen cloth lying there and the handkerchief which had been upon His head, not lying with the strips of linen cloth, but apart, rolled up in one place. Then therefore went in also the other disciple who had come first to the tomb, and he saw and believed, for not yet did they know the scripture that it is a necessity in the nature of the case for Him to stand up [arise] out from among those who are dead. Then the disciples went off again to their own homes.
But Mary continued standing, facing the tomb, outside, weeping audibly. Then as she was weeping, she stooped down and looked into the tomb, and she carefully observes two angels in brilliant white garments sitting, one facing the head and one facing the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying. And those say to her, Woman, why are you weeping? She says to them, They took away my Lord, and I do not know where they laid Him.
Having said these things, she turned herself back and carefully observes Jesus standing, and she did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus says to her, Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? That one, thinking that it was the gardener, says to Him, Sir as for you, if you carried Him off, tell me at once where you laid Him, and, as for myself, I will carry Him off. Jesus says to her, Mary. That one, having turned around, says to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni, (which is to say, Teacher).

“How enriched you are when persecuted for doing what is right! For then you experience the realm of heaven’s kingdom. “How blessed you are when people insult and persecute you and speak all kinds of cruel lies about you because of your love for me! So leap for joy—since your heavenly reward is great. For you are being rejected the same way the prophets were before you. Matthew 5:10-12

bee-be faithful
This bee 🐝 was happily buzzing around my head, making me smile 😁 but a gust of wind caused it to drop into my boiling herbal tea! I threw the tea on the ground, praying - scooped up the bee, gave it some sugar water and then used a small lid to keep pouring cold water over its body. I put the bee in my hand and prayed for it 🙏🏻 All day, on and off I would check on the bee. It’s body was limp but as soon as I arrived I would sing over the bee, telling it that it would live and fly again! When it heard my voice it would start to wiggle! 8 hours, yes 8 hours later the bee was able to use its wings! It lived...
I confess that when I was audibly weeping I said to God “if I can’t believe for the bee then how can I believe for me?!”

arise my darling
Arise my darling, my beautiful one
Come away, come away with me
The winter is over, the spring has come
I’ll turn your mourning into dancing
I’ll turn your mourning into dancing
I’ll turn your water to wine
I’ll turn your water to wine
And you’ll drink from the well
that will never run dry
that will never run dry
Place me like a seal on your heart
Like a seal upon your arm
My love for you is as jealous as the grave
My banner over you is love
My banner over you is love
I’ll turn your water to wine
I’ll turn your water to wine
And you’ll drink from the well
that will never run dry

A prophetic call
To tell the tale of found hope
The Passion, Open Invitation
to encounter
transformative
forgiving, faith-graced hands
that would willingly
be placed
pierced.
Mine in His
His in mine
surrendered
out-stretch-span
unconditional love
that knows
NO offence.
The Passion, Open Invitation
to trust the embrace
of Trinity recompense
Trinity love pulsating resolution
Trinity restorative mercy.
My character assassination preserved me!
A new day dawned at the death of my self vindication.
The slurs like grit making a pearl in the oyster.
Wisdom teaching
new found
liberating
transformative
resurrection power.
The power of unwavering
unchanging affection
through bloody
bruised blows
of betrayal.
Gripped
by HIS LOVE
may I too wholeheartedly say
“Father, forgive them,
for they do not what they do.”
Like Jesus
who honours
our freedom of choice - will
May my love in Him spark
illuminating light
through the darkest of days
Darkest of heart
And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and become like him in his death. Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death.
I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own.

GO!
I believe that the greater our capacity to forgive, the greater our capacity is to love!
May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ. ~ 2 Thessalonians 3:5
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 8:38-39

1 ALTAR - Tent - Well
Life is an altar - a place of ‘altering for us’
Genesis 26:24-25 (RSV)
And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father; fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your descendants for my servant Abraham’s sake.” So he built an altar there and called upon the name of the Lord, and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac’s servants dug a well.
For a complete life we need the right priorities.
When I read this simple, packed scripture I am awakened instantly to the fact that life was utterly rooted in gratitude.
By choice, by design, by purpose.
“So he built an altar - and called upon the name of the Lord.”
Yes, an altar, a place of consecration.
A place of witness-testimony.
The altar was first,
everything had to pass the altar first!
I believe that this truly signifies living for God.
We, as N/T believers know that Jesus was our living sacrifice.
So for us - LIFE IS AN ALTAR
“In Him we live, & move, & have our being.”
Acts 17: 28 (NAS)
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
(Glory (from the Latin gloria, "fame, renown”)
1 Corinthians 10:31(NIVUK)
I am left with a thought to ponder:
As a LIVING STONE am I building an altar with my life.
Am I calling upon the name of the Lord as my first port of call…
Genesis 26:24-25 (RSV)

2 ALTAR - Tent - Well
Life is an altar - A PRICE OF ‘altering.’
You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colours in the world!
Matthew 5:14 -16 (MSG)
Catherine Booth said: “You are not here in the world for yourself.
You have been sent here for others.”
As living Stones I believe that to fully reflect God-colours we have to know them:
The God artist - Trinity Intimately!
To know Trinity is to know true love: Abba who loves the orphan out of us, causing us to know that we are truly accepted, beloved ones. Jesus who with hands stretched out embraced us fully as family, our I Am, self giving, passionate saviour. Holy Spirit personally, intimately revealing eternal family, eternal Godhead; knowing, loving, wisdom, comfort, providence, grace, guidance.
Then we can be heavens heart-beat, heavens sound … restored original masterpiece.
Our priorities become right.
We are positioned to pay the price of ‘altering.’
For some, especially in the days we are living in - a high price, at the altar.
A living sacrifice.
A price that aligns one to a vertical plumb-line.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33
The eternal, priority.
I continue weeping as I write for I know that for some this will be martyrdom.
Their love gift may be the price of ‘altering’ - for someone.
Maybe the unflinching, unwavering, sacrificial price - may pierce even the most mercilessly coldest, hardest of heart - melting it.
I weep, Lord have mercy, may your grace be sufficient.
I wept as I wrote today...
