Sadly all of our services @ Broad Oak Chapel are now shut.

 

Since 2021 we have been trying to resolve the dispute with our landlord 

Rother District Council

We are still without an EPC

for the building that we lease.

We are also still resolving the damage caused by

the split-tonne salt bags 

against the end gable wall.

A year ago RDC said that they would

fix the wall and sort the failed EPC.

We are still waiting.

OUR INVESTMENT: 

Sweaty Equity

 

Not afraid of hard graft & sweaty equity, 

from 2011  we put to use our experience of design & remodelling ,

using personal finance from the sale of our house

 to transform the redundant eco centre. 

 

 It was unused, run down, cold, damp & an abandoned cattle shed, 

decommissioned public toilet, rubbish dump & place where social  crime was happening.

​The metamorphosis was staggering, transforming the spaces

to bless & serve Rother & beyond

with community & spiritual well-being.

​

And what had become a very quirky hidden gem,

nestled in breathtaking countryside,

parkland a children's play-ground

with woodland walks, allotments and

many streams became

the HUB of community for all peoples.

​

It was soon outgrown & we acquired the land 

clearing the dumping round & creating a Garden Of Dreams.

 

 Although semi-rural in location as a stones throw away

from Little Common Village, Bexhill Town Centre

& spectacular coastlands people would often travel

from as far as Tonbridge, Battle, Eastbourne, Rye, Hastings to join with us.
